Amaryllis

Another emergency shot, but I did want to record this for posterity before it dies off! My colleague gave me a handful of amaryllis bulbs several months ago, which I separated out into different pots. So far I have killed a few, there are a few which are hanging on in there but not doing much, and the ones in the office are looking a bit peaky to be honest (my green fingers don't seem to extend indoors too much). This one in the kitchen though is going great guns and this is the first time it has flowered. I brightened it up in PicMonkey as there was way too much light from the window. It really is lovely, I'm enjoying seeing it every morning, it always cheers me up.
