Cloudscape Over Diemen

It was a day with a turbulent sky. Lots of Cumulonimbus clouds, changing rapidly.
There were Cumulonimbus pileus and these classic Cumulonimbus calves. They are big clouds, even a big airplane looks small next to these clouds.

Higher in the atmosphere is a veil cloud, a Cirrostratus fibratus. These clouds can often be seen after bad weather has come, often the last remnants of a storm, like the storm we had last weekend.
