Times Tables in History?

Year 11 daughter enjoyed her GCSE history lesson today, not least because they were given pens to draw on the tables - ;) (That would have earned a few lines when I was at school). They were instructed to draw a map of Korea on the aforementioned table and using pipe cleaners and straws they had to re-enact the Korean War.

She said it was really good fun and told me all about Korea's this and Korea's that although wasn't too impressed when I asked her if this was her 'careers' lesson. That's what it sounded like she was saying. She gave me one of those rolling eyes looks that teenagers love to give their parents at least ten times a day.

Anyway, she had fun and learned lots of history, so well done teacher!
