Niesen

When I get to the stage of building my own personal Alpine lair (I’m thinking Bond villain here) – I’m going to sign up the architect who designed the restaurant and viewing deck at Niesen.

Clouds were still low in Kandersteg, but my photographer mate Max appeared to whisk us down the valley to where the clouds were much less and to join us on funicular railway up to Niesen at 2336 metres above sea level (and quite a few metres above the clouds too).
