Keeping me musically sustained during my long hours of writing at the moment is the excellent Rough Guide To English Folk. Some artists I'm already well-acquainted with - such as Bellowhead and The Imagined Village - while others like Emily Portman have proved to be a pleasant surprise. My ears thoroughly approve.
