Kilt check

Edinburgh has recently opened its first dedicated Gaelic school, Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pairce, with over 200 pupils. Lessons will be taught entirely in Gaelic.

The school hit the local headlines before it even opened over the choice of uniform. Boys were given the option to wear kilts or tartan trousers, and not a single one chose the kilt. And the school wondered why? Just carry on saying no, boys.
