a fair day's work

i always wanted the job of riding on the back of the bumper cars to unbump them when needed. carters steam fair is here, just behind our hedge and we'll be treated to their fireworks from our sitting room window later. not bad for a freebie.

today we went to see our nephew who is coping admirably with being back in hospital after an operation with complications. i worked miracles, taking him through my repertoire of jokes and then left him in stitches - ha ha!
