House Viewing!

Haven't done this for months, but a friend I've been working with wanted to see some houses. Our realtor got on the case and got some codes for us. She knows us - and knows we'll be good when left to our own devices.

Interesting place as we viewed this house as a dark blue cinder block shell 8 years ago. We put an offer in that was rejected, but several months later they accepted an offer from someone else for the same amount.

A husband and wife team then spent some serious money (and time) renovating the property and only really just got out with their shirts (they made a profit but nothing to cover the real cost of time involved).

House was then sold for uppers 60s iirc. Today it's on the market at $23k. But there is a caveat - part of the roof has gone and one room needs a fair amount of work to it (new ceiling, walls, and flooring). Not actually a big job strangely enough.
