Harvest

We planted a sprouted potato that we found in our fridge and wondered if we would get a decent crop from just one plant. I'd say that it wasn't a bad haul at all. I'm quite looking forward to eating a share of these.

Providing of course that I'm allowed a share. Always best not to take things for granted.

It's Election Day here in Germany - I'm not allowed to vote in this one though. I'm curious to see what happens though - will the FDP (the Freie Demokratische Partei) actually get a seat? Will Hessen fall to the SPD (that's the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands)? And will Angela Merkel's upper arms ever, ever move?

If you ever see her on telly, it's like her upper arms are glued to her sides.

I suspect she'll be die Kanzlerin again though.

Now, how am I going to cook these beauties?
