Day 24 – Stuck in the airport, Washington DC

This morning we were up very early and left our accommodation at 5am. We took separate flights from Washington DC to Halifax, Canada (because I booked my flight using frequent flyer points). I was supposed to arrive an hour before Michael, but my flight was delayed by 2 hours! This photo (although not great quality, I think it’s cute) was taken at the departure gate. The poor doggy was delayed by 2 hours too!

We arrived in Halifax safely and both managed to pick up our visas ok (eventually) then headed into the city to our hostel for the night.
