Day of rest?

After a hectic few weeks we have found a hospice we are happy for my mum to go into. Her room overlooks a lake on the opposite side of the park to where she grew up. None of them are jolly places but there is no excuse for being down at heel, this one is head & shoulders above the rest.

She is now, as well as the cancer, on only 50% of the one functioning kidney but is a strong old girl and keeping going. We have all been sorting different areas of her affairs, mine being DWP and disability allowances, I really wish they didn't talk to you as if you are trying to scam them, I was actually trying to stop benefits she is no longer entitled to!

Anyway today I had to pop over to Chester to deal with a clients project so took J9 and we had a stroll in the sunshine and an al fresco lunch by the river, just what the doctor ordered.
