Pennsylvania Heritage Festival 2013

Mr. M worked a 12 hour night shift so would be spending the day sleeping. I got all my busy work (laundry, dinner in the slow cooker, walk the dog) done early so I could head to the PA Heritage Festival. This collage shows a sheep being clipped (not sure if you can tell from the photo but the sheep is basically folded in half on its head), the "blacksmith" making iron pieces, a cauldron of potato soup (referred to as Poor Man's Soup) cooking over a wood fire, and a display of old hammers. There were also tons of vendors with craft tents, people dressed in period clothes strolling the grounds, the Farm Museum, and tons of other stuff. A lovely day was had by all!
