Ice Hockey

Another busy day! Left Kelso this morning and dropped in on my folks on the way back up the road. Then, we were away up and off to see the Edinburgh capitals play the Dundee stars at Murrayfield.

Claire had never been to ice hockey before. I'm sure she made a comment along the lines of "this makes rugby look tame". True to form, seconds later a player got checked into the glass and there was blood all over the ice.

We went with a friend I haven't seen in a while, so it was good to catch up between shouting "COME ON" and "REF? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?"

So, a violent but enjoyable game. Edinburgh lost 0-3. :(
