i returned home this evening to find that carter's steam fair has all but moved on.
a great day at school as i've emailed most of the places we go to on next year's leavers' programme.
one centre was delighted to already have a booking for next june, but it is crazy. the 2014 school sailing trip was booked 3 months ago, making the booking nearly 18 months ahead of the trip itself!!
the racing pigeon that came to school last thursday is still with us and i've been told that if it does return to its coup it would be killed as it's not reliable.
maybe it knows this and that's why it hasn't gone!
