A Special Box

This tin was passed to me yesterday for safe keeping. It was my Great Grandfathers, who fought in the First World War. It was a Christmas 1914 gift to the soldiers and I am told the tin held either cigarettes/tobacco and a lighter. I was struck by the fact that the gift will reach it's 100th anniversary next year. I will blip the tins contents on another day.
