Slioch

I really do like this corner of Wester Ross and we were lucky enough to have a wee job in Poolewe today. The journey at the Gairloch end was a bit sad as I drove past about a dozen places where we had left the road side on foot to take Bruce and Caley for another little wilderness adventure during our Easter holiday in the area. Bruce really enjoyed that holiday. We all enjoyed that holiday.
The morning drive north presented a 1000 blip options with beautiful banks of mist docked to the sides of the mountains. Sadly there was no time to stop. There was less pressure on the return and I had a quick tramp across moorland to this vantage point over looking a field of erratics towards Loch Maree and mighty Slioch.
