The Pevensie Dilemma

By PevensieDilemma

She Shoots! She Scores!

This little built in beauty helped a colleague and I navigate out of London city centre and then on to Birmingham this evening.

Of course, we had to punch in our destination....but it did the rest.

She was quite a polite lady - maybe the same one that works in some elevators, I'm not sure.

Wouldn't it be just the ticket if that was the way our goals became reality?

We could just pop the final destination in and then sit back and wait!

It's not so easy, dear friends.

We all have goals, right?

There are things we'd like to achieve in our lives.

We might have daily goals - things that help us transition through the day when we need a plan and a structure.

Perhaps there's a new gadget you want.

Is there a promotion you'd like?

A change in career?

Maybe you'd like to uproot and relocate.

Maybe you simply desire to function with confidence in a fast paced world!

All of these are goals.

Without traction and motivation, they'll always just be things we'd quite like to do.

We sprinkle some magic on them when begin to work on the 'how'.

Unlike the Sat Nav, information on how we get there isn't automatically available.

There are some things we need to consider.

How specifically will we get from the starting point to the destination?

What might the first step look like?

Who could help?

What barriers might we encounter?

How could we overcome these?

What else might help?

Do we believe we can do it?

How committed are we?

How will we know we've arrived?

What's the dream?
