Maggie, the fashionista

Back to newspaper snapping today, and one of my jobs was Maggie's fashion show. It would be rude to mention Maggie's age, but she carries great style and grace as befits a fashion designer. She recalled a tale of living in the South of France, an American pulls up in his sports car and after some chat says, "Would you like to go out tonight, babe?", she particularly remembers the babe bit. She declines and he drives off. She notices the number plate, thinks nothing of it, until a friend mentions the number plate of Frank Sinatra's sports car...

The best thing about newspaper photography is the people you meet, and their stories you hear. It's a very unique job, I now realise after my summer off.
