Another favourite garden bird - there were three on my feeding tray today after I put the fruit salad leftovers there.
It is a public holiday here today - Heritage Day and it has also been declared national braai (BBQ) day. I guess there were many braai fires around the country but we opted for a restaurant which provided shelter from the irritating wind!
