A famous son of Mold

Daniel Owen was a Welsh novelist, generally regarded as the foremost Welsh-language novelist of the 19th century. A statue in his memory stands proudly in Mold.

He reminds me a bit of fs2012 as they are both upstanding men and both have a beard :-)
