Mission Impossible

That's what getting Tom to practice guitar feels like. He announced to us yesterday evening that he was supposed to have learnt one of his tunes by heart since last week's lesson. Cue panicky last minute practising.

He comes home today with a new challenge - learn the theme from Mission Impossible by next week. He's already pretty much nailed it - and taught me - and it actually sounds like it's supposed to.

Having listened to a CD I played in the car at the weekend, however, Tom's new favourite is in a slightly different direction.
