The perfrect way to get toast to the right temperature before spreading the butter!

You don't want it too hot, or all the butter just soaks in and makes soggy toast.

You don't want too cold, or then the toast becomes limp.

You have to get it just right - and then top with Lurpack (nice heart attack material). Does this qualify as OCD?

Spent all day working at home on a proposal for airport security systems. Not too many interruptions. Think I'm on coffee #10, tablet piece #6 and chocolate digestive #8. Sugar gives me writing inspiration.

Good news from hospital today. CT scan was clear, and appoinment now with cardiologist in the morning. K may even be out tomorrow night.

That means I need to hoover and iron later tonight. Any volunteers?
