Clicky was correct in her assumption.

Not that long ago, Clicky did a rather fine, golden, shot over what was probably a wheat field, and up towards "The Limes".
I'm not 100% sure it still poses as such, but I remember doing a Fire Safety inspection there when it purported to be a "Country House Hotel".
She presumed, correctly as it turns out, that the trees were Limes, Tilia Europa(?).

We went for the eggs today: 1.5doz for a change (1 doz for us, 1/2doz for the Christmas cake, which will be made B4 the end of Sep as a rule.), so I paused long enough to ascertain that at least two of them were, in fact, limes.

I can't remember which way round now, but as kids we used to cycle past either "The Pines" with a lonely Larch tree outside, or t'other way around :¬))
