Sunflower

Well the Celosia from yesterdays picture has drooped alarmingly despite not being in the sun and definitely in water! I've chopped an inch off the bottom and changed water and maybe they'll revive enough to get a few more shots off them.

Meanwhile you'll have to make do with a Sunflower - as you can see from the leaves it's starting to go over but plenty enough life in it yet to keep playing for a couple of days. Then alas it's into the bin with it as I'm off away on Saturday and all cut flowers will have to go in the compost bag.
