Ruin

I headed over to Hoy via the ferry from Houton to Lyness, and caught the little community bus down to Longhope. I got off at Osmondwall and walked along the track to the south coast, then west past the Green Hill of Hestigeo and the lighthouse on Cantick Head, and right around Kirk Hope past Seaberry and the Green Hill of Scarton and Crowtaing . I took some photos around the ruins of the wartime battery there, including this one, and continued to the Point of Hackness and joined the road at Kitta Taing , then along to the village and the bus.
