Grandmere

My mother is staying with us for the next week so all DIY and painting must cease! So far I have painted three rooms and whitewashed the floorboards in the bathroom. I always seem to have unrealistic expectations and start the day believing I can paint the whole house and have time to relax before cooking the dinner. In reality I barely finish one room.

One thing I have learnt is that painting just seems to go on for ever and no sooner have you finished painting one room than the next room begins to look shabby in comparison and so you decide to paint that too....
