On the Logging Road

We have an old road in our community reaching for almost 30 miles from the forested hills through the low wetland area to the river. In years past it was used by trucks to bring logs down from the mountain (hence the name "Logging Road") After being abandoned for many years, it has been fixed up to be a wonderful bicycle- and walking path. I like to walk through the wetland area, there is always some sort of bird - or other wildlife activity to be seen. That's where I was this morning.
