Brambles

I've just been long the hedgerows where the brambles are ready to be harvested. The bushes are laden down with sweet berries and no one seems to gather them anymore. I shall make a bramble and apple pie today. They are much nicer than the commercially grown ones in the supermarkets........and free !!
