A Splash Of Autumnal Colour

As an antithesis to Mondays black and white day, today I give you a small tortoiseshell butterfly in the sunshine. There has been loads of them around this year. I really hope that this is natures ability to bounce back and their numbers are up. I'll be amazed if they are not. There were so many on my dads plants that I could photograph them with my iPhone! Make the most of them ... The colder weather will be coming soon and these will just be memories of the summer that the sun actually shone.
