London

Ann, Colin and I took the train to London today to see the Lowry exhibition at Tate Britain. It was a good day and the exhibition was excellent, the emphasis being on landscapes and life amongst the working classes and satanic mills up’t North in the thirties and forties, with a clutch of larger paintings showing the industry of South Wales.

We sat upstairs on the number 2 bus from Marylebone Station to Pimlico, an excellent way to see the sights for £1.40 (or free in my case).

It was late before we arrived back home so I decided to leave it till today to sort my photos and blip something.
