Today's Pickings

The plateful of stuff that I picked first thing this morning. Not perfect produce though by any means.

The tomatoes are fine and we're probably about half-way through the crop, maybe a little further.

The radishes are not fine, as you can see by the scabby black bits on some of them, which occasionally goes all the way through. The taste is best described as hot!

As you can see, the courgettes are very tiny... unless the radishes are huge, which they're not. No, I'm now picking the courgettes very small because, if I leave them on the plants, they start turning yellow and rot, so better to have them small than not at all!

But the whole of this plateful is edible, which can't be bad!
