My war wound

I gave blood yesterday.
Now I normally do have a bruise afterwards, but this little baby started within a few minutes of my donation.
The nurse in charge told me she would have to abhort the donation as the bruise would only get bigger, you could actually see it develop under the skin.
They were all very nice and I was treated with ice packs before being taken through for tea and bikkies and instructions on what to do should it get worse.
I shall be back next year....
