At the library

Went to the library today where there are these beautiful plantings along the sidewalk. I was only going to pick up a book I had on reserve but, of course, had to look at the new mysteries and fantasies. Ended up with four books. Guess my serious reading projects can wait!
A very warm, humid, overcast day with sprinkles. It's suppose to storm later this afternoon. Monte came home from the Brule cabin. He caught six trout, lost three, and bagged one grouse. His friend, Larry, who lives out of town and had a week of vacation, stayed with him.
Tonight we're having dinner over at Kevin and Mary's. We're bringing the cheeses and crackers we bought while we were in Minneapolis for an appetizer.
Mary was celebrating getting her B.S. We had lobster and steak.
