Stevenage Sunset

Fairlands Valley Park, in Stevemage, is a rather pretty place. I went there for a run this evening, and on the way I saw this lovely view of the sunset over the boating pond at the park.

We are now in the "taper" before the half marathon, where runs have to be shorter and gentler. So I didn't go all the way through the park, instead I left it about half way up and missed out a mile or two that I would normally run.

The net result of this was that I probably hadn't run off enough calories to justify a Domino's pizza, but I had one anyway!
