astro-turf grave

A first for me: never seen an astro-turfed grave before. Mourners have dug up the grass around this elaborate marble grave, for a 52-year-old man who died in 2001, and replaced it with artificial turf. It's in Paddington cemetery in either Kilburn or Queens Park in London - the area seems confused about its identity. It's nowhere near Paddington and was named after the Paddington Burial Board, which opened it in 1855. It has 207 Commonwealth burials from the 1914-1918 war and four from 1939-45. The Victorian graveyard won the national cemetery of the year award 1999. It has an apiary or bee yard with Tombstones honey being produced. A Doctor Who story, The Remembrance of the Daleks, was filmed there.
