Stunted Growth

It makes me a little sad to see trees looking like this.. I really like trees, more than flowers, and it seems such a shame to do this to them. Maybe there were reasons, maybe it was sick and this is going to help somehow.. I'm no tree surgeon. But it's quite sad I think.

In Oslo there were lots of trees like this, but further down the line, perhaps, and they looks like massive Twiglets or Nik Naks (are those snack things still around...?)
