the cold and wet has brought many of the homeless back into the centre - i think in the summer they head out to the parks but once it is cold there are more places to shelter in the centre - many hang around in some of the underpasses and if they can get enough money for a metro ticket they either ride around on the circle line or go from station to station staying underground in the warm and dry.

this autumn has also seen a stark rise, compared to the summer months, of beggars and people selling random things on the street. Small book sellers have sprung up everywhere with people selling what they have to try and make ends meet.

This man had set up his stall on Tverskaya to catch the evening commuters.
