Empty beaches and dramatic skies

Had a lazy start to the day with croissants and rhubarb jam for breakfast.

Went for a long walk towards the port, along the estuary and across the dunes. Lots of little egrets around in the estuary. We stopped off on the way to watch a local horse fair with a horse ball competition and lots of kids charging around on small ponies.

Enjoyed an afternoon in the sun in the garden of the holiday house.
