Alta Lake, Whistler, BC, Canada

With the car we took full advantage of the wheels and headed the 100km north to Whislter. We've been there before, but felt it was worth the trip again given the views you are treated to both there and back. S was spared the trip back up the gondolas to the top of Whistler however. We did look into doing some sort of zip lining, but it seemed very much overpriced for the experience.
Once we'd taken our fill of Whislter we headed to the local brewery to sample some of their fine ales - a wee flight of 4 ales were sampled between S, J and I.
Our last stop before heading home was to Alta Lake.
The setting here is just outstanding and breathtaking. A good hour was spent here just taking in the profound scenery that was presented to us.
