care to sit a spell?

This poor chair was left outside, to be picked up w/ the rubbish come Monday. I could see as I was doing my dishes how beautiful it must have been in it's prime. I love old wing back chairs, and old furniture in general.

I had a bit of a internal conflict though...if I went out and started shooting away I could get a few great shots. On the other hand, it's getting dark very quickly, and my neighbors are going to think I'm absolutely nuts.

As you can see, the chair won that round. Outside I went w/ my tripod and camera and snapped away. I did get some very strange looks...
