Blackberries

After watering the veggies this morning I took Jasper for his walk before it got too hot.

I decided to take my bike (for the good of my soul), and also took the little kids bucket we have hanging around so that I could pick blackberries on the way... they get so horrible and mushy in a plastic carrier bag.

There were lots on the bushes at the side of the tracks and I am making some puree with them. I love hot blackberry puree on cold ice-cream!
