Snapshots of rural France

The Plough Inn, Stratton

We stopped at Ashford, Kent for the first night of our mini break to England. This was our other 'hotel'. We stopped here for lunch on the way to Cheltenham and then stayed for B&B. It's a 'real' pub. The food is home made, there were two old boys in there playing crib when we got there, and there is no music. It's a good old fashioned 'talking' pub. Proper welcome we got too.
Great place and good value.
