Little Owl

Although unclear because of a lack of zoom and colouring which match the surroundings, there is a small owl atop the logs. A small owl because it lacks tufts and which likes to visit the same spots each day and survey the scene. We saw this both days through the window of our holiday cottage. Rabbits abounded and we also spotted a jay and green woodpecker and argued about whether others we saw were quails or young pheasants.
