First and last time I'll ever see brand new rosin I reckon. This arrived in the post today and is for my next project, to learn to play the viol, an early form of string instrument, predating the violin family. The rosin is rubbed on the hairs of the bow before playing and makes lots of lovely white powdery stuff all over everything.

Sorry I've been absent for so long - my last blip was 28th June! It's been a busy life, but work has eased off now. Mr Merlbec and I are preparing for our trip to Chile and Cuba in about a month's time, and the plan is to do lots more blipping whilst away, although internet connectivity may not be easy in some places.
