Meanwhile, back in Faversham...

This is James on his Wild Bread market stall in Faversham. He's a fantastically enthusiastic one-man-band bakery who produces wonderful Real Bread, much better than anything on sale in a supermarket.

We'll be missing James's bread for a few weeks while he takes a trip to Guinea Bissau in West Africa. He'll be joining up with his partner Hannah who is currently working out there on a Chimpanzee Conservation Research Project.

James is taking a little pot of his wild yeasts (sourdough starter) with him. There will be an opportunity for him to work with some of the local bakers while he's there, to teach them about sourdough and also learn a thing or two from them about baking in wood fired ovens.

Have a good trip James, but we'll miss your bread while you're away.
