Send Back the Money

This was put up as part of an audio-guided tour of the Merchant City in Glasgow, and has survived the commissioned grafitti that has transformed the unfinished end of the City Halls into a surrealistic Scottish jungle fantasy.

I have been reading and writing about Frederick Douglass' visit to Scotland for more than twenty years. There's a book in there somewhere, even a film. But it seems to suit me as a perpetual work in progress.
