Funny ol' day today.

Was up and out and off to Harrogate first thing this morning. In something of a collectors item I was late to a meeting. I hate being late.

Having been held up I came back a different way and immediately headed north up the A1 and coming off at Scotch Corner and then back over the A66. The route eventually brought me through Tebay and over the M6 where I stopped at this spot to wake myself up a bit!

Despite the fact there's a dirty great motorway running through it, I still think that this is one of the most spectacular parts of the Lake District, even on an overcast day like today!
