I love this little gadget. It's a portable mini speaker called Rokono Bass or something like that. I bought it a month or so ago when I was still without a TV and my only entertainment was my laptop. For a break from the laptop I could attach my ancient iPod to this thing and listen to music when I was pottering around cooking or tidying.

I've had a funny sort of day today and an evening listening to music amplified by the Rokono was just what I needed. I've been both indulging my mood and cheering myself up with this evening. I listened to lots of stuff I loved when I was a mere slip of a thing, including these two:
