of all of the travel, this is the first time being back here in over 5 years - my goodness! how nice to be back though - it's been far too long.

this fantastic view courtesy of west seattle, near alki beach. met up with two great friends who have made the eastward journey on multiple occasions to visit with friends back home. so great to see them both, if only for one night.

one night? yup, off to vancouver tomorrow, where the work is actually taking place. a few days there, and then back home. hoping this is not the last time i will be here for the next five years - if so, this trip is far too short.
