ID cards

To live in HK you need an ID card and today we had an appointment to get ours. So we go along with the forms and neat hair for the photos (and finger printing). It was all very organised and surprisingly painless, very much like take a number and wait for it to be called at each stage of the process. We now go back to collect the cards in 2 weeks. This is the view as we walked from the MTR to Immigration Tower. This is much more typical of downtown HK than where we are. There are lots of raised walkways in a futile attempt to keep traffic moving.
